Government Libraries
Government Libraries are the libraries whose establishment and operation falls directly to the government sector with a view to implementing the objectives and missions as defined in the respective Government designs.The basic mandate of these libraries is to provide the best services to all citizens of the Republic of Cyprus in the matter of access to knowledge.
At the same time, they host material that focuses mainly on archival / state material and are managed by qualified librarians.
